Iordanis Kotzaivazoglou is Associate Professor of Communication and Public Relations and Head of the Department of Business Administration of the International Hellenic University. He has graduated from the Department of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the same University and a PhD in Communication from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also completed his postdoctoral research in the field of Communication and Public Relations as a scholar of the State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.) of Greece, and attended courses in organizational psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.
Since 2001 he teaches courses in communication, public relations and marketing in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various higher education institutions (including the University of Macedonia, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the former Technological Education Institutions of Thessaloniki, Serres, Thessaly, Kavala etc.). He also collaborates as a trainer or consultant on communication issues with various public organizations, such as the Greek Police, Army and Public Administration, as well as with private companies.
He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, announcements in international scientific conferences with proceedings and has authored books and chapters in volumes on communication, public relations and marketing.
